Yes, yes, I'm accepting it- I'm a Hetalia-obsessed nerd. My whole family (save my anime-hating brother, who loves this show...) is probably ready to get rid of me. HOWEVER, they can't deny that I'm actually learning history. Anyway, this whole topic was to talk about the Hetalia movie (Hetalia: Paint it White), which is coming out in America on November 22nd. Now, I've already watched it in Japanese, and it's just amazing. Here is a quick trailer promoting the English version. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS8H0_MkZ54&feature=relmfuIf you watched, does it not look epic? It's only seventy minutes, so I suggest everyone watch it! (It's much better than the Inuyasha movies, which were cliched and silly).

SO...
I pre-ordered and was sent the confirmation email that it is SHIPPING AND WILL ARRIVE ON TUESDAY. So...so...sooooo happy. Squee big time. Plus, it actually comes with special features, like all movies, including 'The History Behind Hetalia", which I'm real excited for.
Now, once I pre-register for the anime convention, I can pre-order the third season of Hetalia. I want a Prussia bandana!
[Sorry for being such a nerd. Little things in life, such as anime and history, excite me beyond belief. I'm a geek XP]

Never heard of "Hetalia". I am not into Anime so that's probably why.

I'm familiar with anime but haven't heard of Hetalia either.

I actually heard about it two or three years ago from an anime friend, but never really watched it until a few months ago, when my brother found it. Each episode is only five minutes long, but it's amazing.

It takes most of the countries in the world and turns them into humans, with the history and stereotypes of that country. It's mostly set during WW2 (the shows, anyway), so the main characters are the Axis Powers (Italy, Germany, and Japan) and the Allied Powers (America, Britain/England, France, China, and Russia). I mean, it's taught me a lot of history and cultures, and now I have an arsenal of mean, stereotypical jokes up my sleeve >=]
[Plus, America is my hero. Seriously. he's, like...awesome.]
EDIT- Just checked YouTube, and a new clip from the movie came out! YAY! Plus, I laughed so hard I cried. Britain's war cry was amazing- "Double-0 Ninja!"

What an interesting idea. Is it on tv or just online?

Ooh, like the sound of mean, stereotypical jokes.
