Does anyone else hate this? I'm sorry but $20 a month for Photoshop is just too much for me. It's like you're renting the program.

You know how you used to be able to buy Adobe software on a disc? Well you can't do that any longer. Now you pay a monthly fee to have access to Adobe products. From my understanding if you were to discontinue your monthly subscription you would no longer have access to Adobe products which of course includes Photoshop. I can see how it would help to end piracy of their products but for people who can't afford a monthly fee they are no longer able to get a current version of Photoshop. My fear is when my operating system advances it will no longer be able to run my copy of Photoshop CS3. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of upgrading to CS6 when I had the chance so now if I want to purchase CS6, which is the final version you're able to buy on a disc, it will cost me over $600.
