Hey Shorty it doesn't look like anyone is going to be filling my mini profile background request over at the support forum. Would you be interested in giving it a try or do you prefer working on just plugins? Feel free to say no as you know I have said no to requests myself.

So I read your request on support. Could you not just set a background repeat property on the background image. So that it repeats with the height of the background?

Imagine the mini profile's background like the border around the forum that I'm using now. Only the middle section repeats depending on how tall the forum is. That's what I'd like to be able to do with the mini profile.
If I just chose for the background to repeat imagine if the border around the forum did that. The border would show correctly and then once it started to repeat you would see a section of the border.
I can post an image if that helps.

Shorty I don't want to bug you about this but if you've changed your mind, and it's totally okay if you have, could you let me know so I can continue to bump my thread over at ProBoards' Support?

I'm so sorry. I totally forgot about this. Please forgive me. But here ya go.
Go to Admin Panel > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile
On the first line you'll see this:
<div class="$[miniprofile_class]">
Add this above it:
<div class="mini-top" ></div>
so that it looks like this:
<div class="mini-top"></div> <div class="$[miniprofile_class]">
Now find the last </div> in the template, it'll be on the last line. Below that paste this:
<div class="mini-bottom"></div>
so that it looks like this:
</div> <div class="mini-bottom"></div>
Now go to the Advanced Styles & CSS section of the themes. Go to Objects > Mini-Profiles And then change the "Border Width" to "0px". Then change "Border Style" to "none". And change the "Border Radius" to "0px". And add the middle background image URL to the "Background Image" field. Now go to the CSS Style Sheet. At the bottom paste this.
div.mini-top { background-image: url('TOP IMAGE URL'); height: TOP IMAGE HEIGHT; width: TOP IMAGE WIDTH; } div.mini-bottom { background-image: url('BOTTOM IMAGE URL'); height: BOTTOM IMAGE HEIGHT; width: BOTTOM IMAGE WIDTH; }
Make sure the Images are the same width as the mini-profile. I think it should be 170px without the borders. So use that number. And i believe that's all. i hope that's what you wanted and i hope it makes sense.

Wow thanks Shorty! I'll be able to try it out when I get on my computer later today. Currently I'm on my iPad. Thanks again for taking the time to do this for me. I really appreciate it.

It's not a problem. I'm sorry I took so long. I totally forgot. If you ever need my help again, just keep tagging me daily until I do it. I forget things easily.
