For Safari 6.1 users it's highly recommended that you download this theme's newest version.
Safari 6.1 makes this theme's text look thin and degraded.
The newest version of this theme corrects the degraded text issue.

Oh yes that's the look I was going for . See if the border plugin is being used with the John 3:16 theme.

Nope it's not. Can you change your theme here on the forum to John 3:16 and see if it still shows that way for you?

Yep, still does it on here. Although interestingly, the background shows one here. Doesn't on my forum.

I'm just guessing here but that hidden setting you changed for the Rainbow theme, that setting is in a default theme. So I didn't change anything. The John 3;16 theme doesn't use a border but it does have head and base or tri images. Maybe it also needs hidden changed to visible? I would ask at support about this as well. I know you'll get better results than me guessing how to fix it

I tested the hidden/visible thing. That made no difference. I have asked on support now. I didn't notice any head etc images, if you're referring to ones related to the border plugin.
I was mainly talking about the sort of patterned brown background that the John theme has on here. Does that not come with the downloadable one from the theme library?
