If I use this theme for a motorcycle forum, can I change the background and banner photo? This will be for what will be a very popular, mainstream forum and I would leave your credits on there.

Also, the forum would be converted to forums.net by end of the year, if that makes any difference.

You can change the banner in any of my themes. As far as changing backgrounds. I wish people wouldn't but I'm not going to say they can't.
The credit image must remain on all of my themes.

the credit image will stay. the reason the background would need to be changed on my and possibly other forums is that we may have other topics than cars. Sorry but thanks. I'll consult with you with other changes first.
The credits will stay and be seen by thousands. I'll let you know when finished and you can make recommendations.

Things like changing the font or font size, you don't need to ask about those changes. If people want to make changes that better suit their forum it's okay. As long as the graphics are not edited and you don't release a new version of the theme as your own. That would be using the theme as a starting point for creating a new one. And if a theme is changed so much that it no longer resembles its original state, you cannot use the graphics with that theme.
When you say background, do you mean the pattern behind the forum or the steering wheel image in the posting field?
