With black as your foreground color fill the selection by choosing option + delete for Macs and alt + delete for Windows. Deselect and name the layer wood frame. Click the f in a circle at the bottom of the layers palette and choose Drop Shadow. These are the settings you want to use. The default color black is the color of the shadow so you don't need to change it.

Now apply the Inner Shadow effect using these settings. To change the Contour click on the arrow, purple outline, in the Layer Style window. In the new window that pops up one at a time hold your cursor over a contour so its name pops up. Click on the one named Rounded Slope to select it.

Adding the Texture effect is next. If you want to use the screen pattern I used you'll need to first follow this tutorial to add it to your pattern set, Adding New Patterns Or to make things easier you can just choose an alternate pattern to use as your texture. Just click on the one showing in the Layer Style window, purple outline, then select a pattern.

Now apply the Gradient Overlay effect with these settings. To select the gradient click on the one that's showing in the Layer Style window, pink outline. You can either choose one of your existing gradients or make the one I used. To make the gradient I used at the very bottom of the Gradient Editor window that pops up you want to double click on the stop on the left side, red outline. In the Color Picker window that pops up enter those RGB amounts in the RGB fields in the window. Now double click on the stop on the right, red outline, and enter the same amount in the RGB fields. Finally double click on the stop in the middle, blue outline, and enter those RBG amounts in the fields. Fill in a name for your gradient then click New and your gradient will be added to your set.

Here's how your frame should look so far. To hide the effects so you have more room in your layers palette you can click the arrow on the layer, red arrow. This only hides the effects in the layers palette and not in your file. Click the arrow again to show them.

Select the elliptical marquee tool from your toolbox. In the options bar change the Style to Fixed Size and enter 40px in the Width and Height fields.
