added two frames to the long Animation palette at the bottom of this picture. To add a frame click on the new frame icon in the Animation palette. It's at the left of the trash can in this picture. To show/hide a layer click on its eye or where the eye should be in the layers palette. Click on layer 1 in the layers palette. Now click on frame 1 in the Animation palette. Layer 1 should be showing and layers 2 & 3 are not. This is what you see in the picture below. Click on Layer 2 in the layers palette. Now click on frame 2 in the Animation palette. Layer 2 is showing and 1 & 3 are not. Click on layer 3 in the layers palette. Now click on frame 3 in the Animation palette. Layer 3 should be showing and layers 1 & 2 are not.

One at a time click on a frame and then click on the tiny arrow at the bottom of the frame, where the red arrow is pointing, and choose 0.1 sec. Then click on the tiny arrow in the top corner of the palette, has a red border.

Choose Optimize Animation... In the pop up window make sure both boxes are checked and click OK. Then choose File>Save Optimized As... from the menu bar. Name your file and you're done.
