Once you've completed the Sparkle butterfly tutorial you can now animate it if you choose.

I have opened my signature in ImageReady and these are the settings I used. If you're coming from the Sparkle butterfly tutorial you'll notice I've renamed the wing layers for both of my buttterflies. First I linked and merged all the layers together except the butterfly layers.

The layers with an eye in the layers palette are the ones showing. In the following pictures the layers with the green highlights are the ones that differ from picture to picture. These are the layers I had showing for frame 1...

These are the layers I had showing for frame 2. To add frames click on the icon at the bottom of the animation palette that looks like a piece of paper with a folded corner, same as when you make a new layer in the layers palette.

These are the layers I had showing for frame 4. When my frames were done I clicked the tiny arrow where I have added a red outline and set each frame to show for 0.2 seconds. After that I clicked on the arrow with the blue outline and chose Optimize Animation... Make sure these are checked in the pop up window and click ok.

Finally I chose File>Save Optimized As... Named my file and I was done.
