If you've decided to use one of my themes that has a border around the forum, the instructions below show you how to add it. Click here if you don't know what a border around the forum is. The border's 3 imagesThe three images that create the border are included within the theme. To access their links go to Admin > Themes > Theme Manager. Hover over the theme and click on the Images button. Scroll to the very bottom to the Custom Images section. Here you'll find link buttons for the text-free top, middle and bottom images. Installing the border pluginHere is the link for the plugin, Border Around Forum. You'll need to join that forum to access the download link. Once downloaded the plugin will appear on your desktop. Go to Admin > Plugins > Manage. Click import plugin. Import it from your computer.
Adding images & info and enabling the pluginThe border plugin should appear in your plugins list. Click on the border plugin's name. Click the outer forum borders data tab. Click Add Theme and select the appropriate theme. In the second post of the theme's thread you'll find the amount you need to enter into the New forum width field. Copy the links for the top, middle and bottom images and paste them into the border plugin's appropriate fields. When done, click Save Changes. Now click here to enable the border plugin. Go to Admin > Plugins > Manage. Under Plugin Settings the border plugin's box should be checked if it's enabled. Under Permissions click the Edit button and make sure only themes that have a border around the forum are checked.

JenThere is an issue if you have non bordered themes with bordered ones, there is a image in the upper left and the bottom left of a 404 image. I posted on Pebbles Border around Forum Thread on IOD Forum.

I posted on Pebbles Border around Forum Thread on IOD Forum. Do you mean a theme isn't showing correctly and this theme doesn't include a border? Have you checked to make sure that this theme is not included in the plugin's permission list? I'm not 100% sure but that plugin might select all themes as the default.

No it's showing correctly BUT there's a 404 image in the top and bottom left. So the plugin is over riding I guess into Themes without Borders.

Can you post a screenshot? I'm not sure I totally understand the issue.
Is it happening for you on this forum because I'm using border and non-border themes and everything shows okay for me.

Yeah it looks fine on here, but I went incognito and the 404 images were still there.
