If you want your marbles to be extra glassy looking you can now add an Inner Glow with these settings to the marbles layer. For the color use white. Once you add the Inner Glow go to the channels palette and load the rings selection. Now with your marbles layer as the active layer choose Select>Inverse then delete. Deselect. The reason you do this last step is sometimes when you add the Inner Glow it can cause your marbles to get a little rough around the edges.

Select your brush tool and make sure the Mode in the options bar is set to Normal. Choose this brush from the brushes palette. If you don't have it click on a round brush and change the settings to the ones you see. Make white your foreground color. Add a new layer and name it extra shine. Now click down one time for each shine. Try to get all of the shines in the same place. If needed, use the move tool to position the shines.

With the pen tool make this path. If you use my path as a guide click down on the anchor point near 1 then drag a little in the direction of the arrow then release. Click on the anchor point near 2 then drag in the direction of its arrow and release. Click on the anchor point near 3 then drag again and release. Finally click on the first anchor point to close the path. You'll see my view is at 300%. It might help if you enlarge your view during this step. If you're having a hard time with the pen tool you can check out the tutorial The pen tool.

Take the direct selection tool and clean up your path. For anchor point 3 you need to click on the anchor point then grab a direction point. Now hold the option key for Macs and the alt key for Windows and then move the direction line to break it. Release your mouse/lift your pen then let go of the appropriate key. Now you can grab one of the direction points and move the direction lines independently.

Add a new layer then make white your foreground color. Go to your paths palette and click the tiny arrow and choose Save Path. Name the path inside. Now click the Fill path with foreground color icon, red arrow. Click in the empty area under the path in the paths palette to shut it off.

Go to your layers palette and make a copy of Layer 1. Choose Edit>Transform>Flip Vertical. Then choose Edit>Transform>Flip Horizontal. Take your move tool and drag the shape down and it should match up with your other shape. When you have the two shapes positioned like mine link and merge Layer 1 and Layer 1 copy.

Make a copy of this layer for each of your marbles and use the move tool to place them. When you have all the inside shapes in position you can click on their layers one at a time and use Edit>Transform>Flip Horizontal, Edit>Transform>Flip Vertical and Edit>Transform>Rotate to alter the insides for each marble. As you alter the inside shapes you might have to put them back in place with the move tool. When done link and merge all the inside shape layers and name the layer inside. Something you might have noticed if you have any marbles bleeding off the edge like I do, is the straight dark section in your marbles, purple arrows. This is how the inner shadow is showing because since the marbles are cut off they're no longer a round shape but have a flat side.

Change the opacity for the inside layer to 20%. Make sure all your layers are stacked in the same order as mine are.

Take your type tool and make your letters. Use the move tool to position them then you can choose Edit>Transform>Rotate to change their angle a bit. Put their layers opacity at 30%. If you have some letters that are hard to see at that setting due to the marble's color just bump the opacity up a little. One of the O's in mine is set to 35%.

Your marbles are done now for the frame. The frame is made from your marbles. Now you could make a copy of each of your layers and then link and merge them and get your frame from there but when you do that since you would be working with a lot of layers there's always the chance one of the layers you don't want to be merged gets merged by mistake. So it's easier to save a copy of your file. I choose File>Save As... Name my copy and save it to my desktop. The file I have open automatically changes to that copy and my original siggy file is back where I've saved it in a folder.
