Make a new layer and name it name frame. Select the rounded rectangle tool. With these settings in the options bar click and drag to make the shape your name(s) will go in. Now make the name frame layer a selection then choose Select>Modify>Contract>4. Choose delete then deselect.

Make a new layer and put it under the name frame layer. Name this new layer frame fill. Make white your foreground color and fill the selection by choosing Edit>Fill...>Foreground Color. Deselect. Link the name frame and frame fill layers like you see in the picture. Now click on the name frame layer in the layers palette to make it the active layer. Click the tiny f in a circle at the bottom of the layers palette, red outline, and choose Drop Shadow.

Enter these settings for the drop shadow. The next effect you're going to add to make up the style for the name frame layer is Bevel and Emboss. In the left column of the Layer Style window if you click on the words Bevel and Emboss... ...it will take you to the Bevel and Emboss settings. Enter these settings then click OK.

With the type tool add your name(s). Use the move tool to place it in your frame. Link your name(s) layer to the name frame and frame fill layers then move the frame with your name(s) where you want. If you're going to keep your background white you can add a thin outline to the signature. To do that click on the back color layer and then click on the f in a circle at the bottom of the layers palette. Select Stroke and set the thickness to 1 and choose Center from the pulldown menu. Use black as the color. If you plan on adding a gradient to your background then continue. If not, you're done. To save this signature use the save as a jpg in Photoshop setting found here, My settings.

To add a gradient background choose the gradient tool. In the options bar click on the gradient showing and select a gradient from the pop up window. To extend your file, which is why you see the grey borders around my picture, click and drag the bottom right corner, pink outline. Click on the back color layer in the layers palette. With the gradient tool hold the shift key then click at the top of your file and drag to the bottom and release. And you're done. To save this signature use the save as a jpg in Photoshop setting found here, My settings.
