On the swirls layer I stroked the large swirl's path. To see how to stroke a path check out The Pen Tool tutorial. Now repeat what you just did to make the two small swirls. I named the path tiny swirls. Remember to make a new layer for these before you stroke the path. When I had all my swirls in place I linked the small swirls' layer to the swirls layer (large swirl) and merged them together. Then I changed the opacity of the swirls layer to 25% in the layers palette.

New layer. The star trails were created with the brush tool. The star trail's layer is set to 50% opacity. New layer. The tiny dots that go with the star trail were made with the pencil tool. The brush size was 1 pixel. The dots show at 100% opacity.

Here are all my layers showing and the order I have them in my layers palette. At this point since I was happy where everything was I took the crop tool and dragged it around the entire picture and clicked the check to apply it. If you click and drag the lower right corner of your file to extend it it'll be easier to crop.

Go to the butterfly file, and one layer at a time, hold the shift key down and click and drag each layer over your siggy file. Release the mouse and then the shift key. Holding the shift key will put what is on each layer in the center of the signature's file. Make sure all the butterfly layers are linked together when you have them in the siggy file.

With the butterfly layers linked together I chose Edit>Transform>Scale and reduced my butterfly.

Then I chose Edit>Transform>Rotate and turned my butterfly a bit. Use the move tool to put your butterfly where you want it.
