For the tiny butterfly I made a copy of the body layer and one of the wing positions, 2, of the big butterfly. Then I linked those two layers together and chose Edit>Transform>Scale and reduced the butterfly. I also rotated this one as well. If you plan on animating this signature you need to make a copy of all three of the wing positions, wing, 2 and 3, of the big butterfly for the tiny one. If you cut out the wings and changed their scale you should have access to three different wing positions so you can choose anyone to be showing. I chose the totally open wing for the big butterfly and the half closed wing for the small one.

I clicked on the tiny butterfly's wing layer, 2 copy, and applied this Gradient Overlay to it. To apply a gradient overlay click on the tiny f in a circle at the bottom of your layers palette. Make sure you change the Blend Mode to Screen, has a purple outline. When your Gradient Overlay window first opens you won't see the gradients like you do in this picture. If you click on the blue arrow that I have put a blue outline around you will get the pop up window you see. If you click within the gradient showing, included in the blue outline, the Gradient Editor window will open up.

The final step is to apply a drop shadow to the two wing layers. One layer at a time click the tiny f in a circle at the bottom of the layers palette and choose Drop Shadow. To see how to apply the same layer effect to the other wing layer see the thread Adding A Layer Effect To Other Layers. If you plan on animating this siggy you need to add the drop shadow to all the wing layers. One thing you could do when adding pictures is to lower the opacity of their layers. And you're done. To save this signature use the save as a jpg in Photoshop setting found here, My settings. To animate this signature continue to the tutorial Sparkle butterfly (animated).
