With the copy I hid the letter layers. Then I chose Flatten Image.

Open your original marble signature's file. Click on the copy to make it active. You can look at a file's title to see if it's active. Non-active files will have their title area greyed out, red arrow. Now click on the Background in the layers palette and while holding the shift key drag it over your siggy's file then release.

Select the elliptical marquee tool and make sure the Style is set to Normal in the options bar. Make a selection placing it over the marbles that you want to be a part of the frame.

To make the inner selection with the elliptical marquee tool hold the option key for Macs and the alt key for Windows then click and drag inside the first selection. Once you start to drag you can release the key. To move the selection around as you're making it hold the space bar. Now click on Layer 1 and choose Layer>New>Layer via Copy. Deselect and name this copy frame. Throw away Layer 1.

Use the move tool to drag your frame over then apply this effect to it with these settings. I used black for the color.

Make the frame a selection. Make a new layer and put it under the frame layer in the layers palette. With black as your foreground color choose option + delete for Macs and alt + delete for Windows to fill the selection. Deselect.

To Layer 1 apply Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur with this setting. With the move tool while holding the shift key drag the shadow down a little. You want to see a little of the shadow outside the frame at the bottom.

Make a copy of Layer 1. Now use the move tool while holding the shift key to move the shadow up. You want to see a little of the shadow outside the frame at the top. When you are happy with the positions of Layer 1 and Layer 1 copy link and merge the two layers and name this layer frame drop.

Open the photo you want to use and put it into your frame. I named this layer woody picture. Now take the brush tool and set the Mode to Color in the options bar. Go to the layers palette and apply the lock I outlined in purple to this layer. Make black your foreground color and paint over your picture.

Apply an Inner Shadow to the picture layer/woody picture with these settings. I used black for the color. And you're done. To save this signature use the save as a jpg in Photoshop setting found here, My settings.
